What a Max Bet Rule Actually Restricts

A max bet rule sets the largest single stake allowed while a bonus is active or until its wagering is cleared. It is usually written as a peso amount per spin, per hand or per round, and sometimes as a share of the bonus itself. The figure, and whether it covers your cash balance as well as the bonus balance, varies by operator and even by promotion, so the only reliable number is the one printed in the terms of the offer you actually claimed.

• It applies to each individual bet, not to your total wagering for the day.
• Breaching it once can be enough for an operator to cancel the bonus and the winnings tied to it.

Find the Cap in Your Promo Terms, One Tap at a Time

1. Open the operator's app or mobile site and go to the Promotions or Bonus area, not the game lobby.
2. Tap the promotion you claimed and open its full terms, usually a small link labelled Terms, T&Cs or More info.
3. Search the page for maximum bet, max stake or bet limit. Most phone browsers keep Find in page under the share or three-dot menu.
4. Note the exact figure and whether it is per spin, per round or per line. A per-line cap on a multi-line slot is a very different number.

Set Your Stake Below the Limit Before Tapping Spin

5. Lock auto-spin to that stake, and switch off any setting that raises the bet after a win or a loss.

Buttons on a Small Screen That Break the Rule

On a phone held in one hand on a moving bus, these are the controls most likely to push a bet over the cap without you noticing.

• Feature buy or bonus buy buttons, whose price is usually many times the base stake.
• Gamble or double-up options after a win, where the doubled amount may count as a fresh bet.
• Max bet or bet-level shortcuts, which sit close to the spin button on many layouts.
• Switching to another game where the default stake loads higher than the one you chose.
• Reloading a game after the signal drops, then spinning before checking the stake is still yours.
